If there were ever a time she'd think she was certain to get a message from someone, anyone, it would be now, but the notifs are stubbornly blank. Even when she clicks into the messages app to see if there's anything there, it just displays the same message as usual.

It shouldn't be a surprise. But still, it makes her shoulders sag with disappointment all the same. ]
